Calculator methodology

Why retries belong in the price.

AI video rarely produces one usable asset per generation. If you need 20 finished videos and typically try twice, you pay for 40 generations. Ignoring that multiplier can understate the bill by half.

For lengths a model cannot generate directly, the estimate uses the cheapest supported clip combination and assumes you can trim and stitch the output. It does not claim equal model quality. Prices are USD list-price references; regional availability, currency, taxes, editing, storage, and unplanned failed requests are excluded.

Requested length is rounded up to each model’s supported clip durations before billing.
Subscription credits are checked against the full monthly workload.
Manual subscriptions are excluded from automated API workloads.
Unsupported resolutions and native-audio requirements are excluded before ranking.
